ccsync stores the minimum account and device information needed to sync AI agent skills and MCP server configuration across your machines.
Account sign-in is handled by the configured authentication provider. Device records, token hashes, sync manifests, timestamps, and operational metadata are stored in the hosted Convex backend. Raw CLI tokens are not stored by the service.
Sync manifests can include local skill names, file paths, MCP server names, and related configuration metadata. Do not sync secrets or private credentials through skill files or MCP configuration.
We use this data to authenticate devices, keep machines in sync, debug service issues, and protect the product from abuse. We do not sell personal information.
To request account or device deletion, contact the project maintainer from the account email associated with your ccsync workspace.
